In order for a teaching situation to arise, there has to be a student. Without a student there is no teacher, and no teaching. I am eternally grateful to my students, who are actually my teachers.

Teaching has become the most precious practice for me, because it has been the gateway to discovering what is important.

What is important?

Kindness, concern and care for one another. To give it a name: compassion. This does not always mean giving what is expected. True compassion is about being fully present and awake, in all our humanness, and sharing that with others. It means being available to others, even when we feel shitty. We share our weaknesses as well as our strengths, accepting the same in others. And when accepting becomes difficult, then we offer this as fuel to the fire of forgiveness for even deeper acceptance, and become grateful for the opportunity to grow.

May peace and joy follow you always.
